Marin County # Landscape Design in Sausalito, California Hillside and view-focused landscape design for Sausalito. [Schedule my $300 consultation](https://halldesign.info/book/) ## Design-first landscape design for Sausalito properties Sausalito clings to steep hillsides above the bay, where views are everything and flat ground is scarce. We design terraced, view-framing landscapes that turn challenging Sausalito lots into beautiful, usable outdoor rooms. Sausalito's steep, view-oriented sites demand real design discipline — grading, retaining, drainage, and terracing to create level space without blocking the bay and Golden Gate views homeowners prize. We plan every level to work with the slope, not against it. The mild, Mediterranean, wind-influenced climate suits a refined, water-wise palette that frames rather than fights the view. We coordinate the build with contractors experienced on Marin's demanding hillside sites.
