Hall Landscape Design

Pricing

Clear pricing, built around your property

Design pricing depends on your property, the terrain, and the scope of what you want to create. Here's where most projects land — and exactly what moves the number.

Front Yard Design

$2,000–$3,000

A cohesive front-yard master plan that elevates curb appeal and sets the tone for the whole property.

Backyard Design

$3,000–$5,000

A full backyard design built around how you live, relax, and entertain — outdoor living, planting, and lighting intent.

Full Property

Combined discount

Design your front and backyard together as one cohesive vision — at a combined, discounted price.

Our Pricing Philosophy

One price. Room to get it right.

One clear price, quoted upfront — and we stick to it. When we give you a design price, it includes the room to get it right: typically three to four rounds of revisions, so you can develop the long-term vision for your property without watching a meter run. No surprise change orders, no add-on fees every time you want to move something.

Most designers don't offer that kind of latitude — we do. Every square inch of your property is worth getting right, whether you build next year or in five. We'd rather you feel free to explore the vision (and let us push you in directions you hadn't considered) than feel boxed in by the first draft. The goal is a plan you love — and a designer you keep coming back to.

What determines your price

Every property is different

The site visit comes first

Everything starts on-site. Walking the property is how we define the space, learn how you live, and see what we're really working with — because a price only means something once we understand the project.

Terrain & site complexity

A flat, blank-slate yard and a multi-level hillside are very different projects. Slopes, elevation changes, and mature trees all shape how much design the property needs.

Structure & grading

Retaining walls, staircases, and grading to carve out usable, level space add real design work — and they're often exactly what makes a difficult site finally function.

How much is changing

The more new elements you want — and the more we're reworking the existing landscape — the larger the design. A full-property redesign is more involved than refreshing a single area.

Cohesion & craft

The real value is making every element look like it was always meant to be together. That trained eye — flow, proportion, and detail — is the difference between paint-by-numbers and a design that feels inevitable.

Included in every design

What you get for your design fee

On-site consultation & vision session

A $300 on-site session (credited toward your design) where we walk the property, talk priorities, and define the scope.

Laser-accurate measuring & topography

We laser-shoot the elevations to within about a quarter inch and build a precise topographic base plan — so staircases, walls, and usable spaces actually work when they're built, not just on paper.

A complete preliminary plan

Your first real look on paper: hardscape, structures, lighting plan, and planting plan — the whole vision in one place, ready to refine together.

Three to four rounds of revisions

Genuine latitude to move things around, explore multiple ideas for a space, and dial it in until it feels right — with no change-order fees.

One flat design price

The price we quote is the price. No surprise add-ons every time you want to adjust the vision.

Your first step: a $300 consultation

An on-site vision session where we review your property, talk through your goals, and give you clear direction on what your landscape could become. If you move forward with your design, the $300 fee is credited toward your project.
