Bocce Courts: 5 from real Napa & North Bay projects

A bocce court is pure outdoor living — a destination with a purpose that pulls people out of the house and keeps them together for hours. Function decides the layout first: a level run, good drainage, and room along the sides for people to stand, sit, and heckle. Then I connect it to the other destinations, especially wherever food and drink live, so the court is part of the flow rather than an island. Planting softens the long, hard edges and settles the court into the landscape so it looks like it belongs.
