Paths & Walkways: 16 from real Napa & North Bay projects
A path should invite movement and lead somewhere worth going. I lay paths out as the connective tissue between destinations, so the whole property reads as one experience rather than a set of isolated features. Width, material, and pace all follow function — a garden stroll and the route from the car to the kitchen door are different paths. Planting crowds the edges to soften the hardscape and blur the line between walkway and garden. Where there's existing stone worth keeping, I reuse it so the new route feels like it was always there.
